SOREN journal (Student Sports & Health Open Researches e-journal: New-approaches) is the first open-access student electronic journal of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science, Tehran, Iran. SOREN publishes peer-reviewed original/research, reviews and reports papers, in Persian-English and quarterly, and in the broad field of sport and health sciences. The journal covers researches on sports medicine, physiotherapy, sports nutrition and supplementation, sports biomechanics, exercise physiology, biochemistry, biology, physical activity and health, exercise and brain health, injury and disease prevention, clinical rehabilitation, sports pathology and corrective exercise. SOREN will also consider interdisciplinary papers on management, psychology, sociology, immunology, physical education, medicine and its sub-disciplines, as well as other areas related to sports and health sciences.
